Positive pregnancy strip test

Had mirena removed on 4th March and started TTC. 2 days later had bleeding for 5 days. Was unsure at the time if this was removal bleeding or my period.

Have been doing BBT using the FF app since 10th March. My temps have been so variable but have recently been high for a long time.

Did a pregnancy test on 29th March which was negative.

On Wednesday I had some light spotting, followed by a light bleed the following day. Unsure what my body was doing I did an ovulation test and pregnancy test this morning and both were positive. I have no other symptoms of pregnancy at the moment.

Should I get a digital test to confirm? Is it too soon?
Should I use my first period date after Mirena removal to calculate due date?

If the strip test worked the digital should too, ho for it

I mean go for it

Thanks. Would I do the start date from the first day of my period? No idea how long my cycles are as didn’t have any whilst using mirena.

You would use that as a basic guidleine to get a rough estimate for how far along you are, and then you will be dated more accurately at your 12 week scan

Thanks. Did a digital test and got a positive +3 weeks

Congrats Dolly! I also got a BFP today, exciting!

Wonderful news. Congrats. My FF app puts my ovulation date as 21st March but I have no idea how long my cycle should have been. Unsure if this means I am 5 weeks or 6 weeks?! How many weeks are you?
