So I found out I’m pregnant on Monday the 15 of this month I’ve been doing clear blue digital everyday but still saying 1-2 weeks. I’m so worried shouldn’t the weeks be going up by now I’ve had 2 losses so I’ve got a feeling this ones going the same way 😢

I wish they would ban those tests. They aren't meant to be a pregnancy progression diagnostic tool, they're just meant to be a bit of fun.

Please stop testing.

I just can’t help it I’m such a worrier because of my last two losses 😢

You only got a positive 3 days ago? Not over a week ago, so why would there be an expectation the weeks have gone up?

Either way they're not a reliable tool for tracking the progress of pregnancy. They're really not always that accurate

Chelsl93twd · 18/04/2019 23:43

I’m just worried because reading others stories online there’s have gone up also because your hormones are meant to get higher every 3 days.

Surely it'll take a week for it to go up? As then you'll be 2-3 weeks then

Yes but it’s not going to go up by a week in less than a week is it!

Bambamber · 18/04/2019 23:51

But it's not telling you in days it's telling you in weeks. The tests take into account how quickly the hormone is supposed to rise. Buy they're not all that accurate anyway. Pregnancy tests cannot tell you if your pregnancy is progressing as it should

Chelsl93twd · 18/04/2019 23:53

Ok thank you everyone I’ve just been reading online about people’s stories and I’m worried that’s all I’m obviously not thinking logically

No please don't worry. When I was pregnant it stayed 1-2 for over the first 2 weeks and moved to 2 - 3 after that. As others have said...you truely can't rely on them to give you any detail. Some people will take the tests and it changes to 2-3 quickly and others will hang about on the 1-2 weeks pregnant for a while. Both can have healthy pregnancies. I understand you are going to be especially worried given your history and no one can help you with that...but definitly try to stop testing as it really doesn't give you an information. Try and keep positive and congratulations on your pregnancy! Got everything crossed for you x

Have you looked online to see what ranges clearblue state these tests work within??

1-2 weeks is hcg of 25-152
2-3 weeks is 153- 2752
3+ is 2753+

That's URINE hcg concentration and not blood (your level in your blood will be much higher)

I would take the day you first got 1-2 weeks and double 25hcg every 48 to see when it goes over the 153 threshold and that should tell you when to expect to get a 2-3

Always use first morning urine only

I got 1-2 on 14dpo and got 2-3 on 17dpo
X

I fell foul of these last week

I had a 3+ the week before. Bought another pack of two to keep a sneaky eye on things. So my stomach dropped when I got a 2-3. Cue crazy googling. An hour later, I did the second test in the pack (to get it out of the house!!) and it was a 3+

I'm never wasting money on them again

Chelsl93twd · 21/04/2019 11:25

Thank you everyone for your help but I had a miscarriage again 😢
