Is that just from measuring your bump with the tape?

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 18/04/2019 16:17

I had my 28 week appointment on Tuesday. Bump also measured big. Midwife wasn't concerned. She said as long as growth was continuing and the line doesn't just around too much it's fine.
Also it's a measure of bump. Not baby.

The weight estimates are notoriously not accurate!

TrixieFranklin · 18/04/2019 16:19

From a growth scan, estimated feral weight is done on the head circumference, abdomen circumference and femur length.

Fetal not feral

I'm measuring 3 weeks ahead and have been since 28 weeks. Had a scan today just to check if baby was breech but midwife had a peak whilst she was looking and said baby looked bang on where she was meant to be, I just have a big bump. Try not to worry. 36+3 x

I had my 31 weeks scan last Friday. estimated baby was 4lb 11oz which the Doctor said was ahead and sent me for gestational diabetes test.
My first ds was born at 38 weeks and he was 9lb 6oz, also had the gestational diabetes tests with him but came back ok
