Is this normal?

Hi all,
Went for early scan today due to spotting last week. They found a large (7cm) ovarian cyst which they believe was the cause. However I had measured myself at 8+2 and while the scan did show a heartbeat, the gestational sac measured at 7 weeks and the fetus at 6+1. Yolk sac was also seen. Is this normal? My dating was from LMP. Should fetal age be different from LMP dating? And is it normal that the sac is larger? So confused and worried :(

I don't know about the sac question but it's very possible you just ovulated late. That happened to me. When I went for my first scan, based on my last period I should have been 9 weeks but I was 6 weeks due to late ovulation. He's measured consistently at every scan since so it definitely was just a case of late ovulation for me x
