What can DH and I do for the next few days? So bored of watching TV and/or just reading a book. (He's off work until Tuesday)

TIA

walks, days out somewhere, swimming, picnic in the park. What would you normally do on a long weekend?

Paradyning · 18/04/2019 12:27

Just sleep! As much as possible

Redken24 · 18/04/2019 12:27

First baby? Enjoy the peace. Sleep lol.

I did a lot of baking in my last couple weeks, family loved it though! Found myself cleaning and organising spaces that didn't necessarily need it however now baby is 11 weeks and I'm glad I cleared out cupboards etc

Relax enjoy your sleep lol x

I'm the exact same, so found this helpful! We're just bored all the time as I can't go very far, or for long walks as im in pain or just need to pee a lot lol.

We're gonna try go for a short walk tomorrow, maybe for a browse round a few shops near by our house and hopefully if the weathers nice sit in the garden :)

I'm the same, bored of tv and bored of being the house but due any minute now so fingers crossed 3)

We'd usually go away for a long weekend to somewhere where there are lots of long dog walks, but I have PGP so walking very far is off the cards unfortunately.

I'm definitely sleeping more to try and make up for what I'll miss over the next few months years, but there's only so much of that I can do too!

Think we're going to go for a wander round some shops tomorrow, and I'll put a picnic together for today.

Thank you for your ideas Smile

I remember when I started my mat leave I was so excited about being able to 'hit the shops' while everyone was working. After about ten minutes I had to come home as I was so knackered!

Definitely rest as much as you can. Have you done any 'nesting?' I had an urge to clean out the cutlery drawer...

Russell19 · 19/04/2019 09:18

I'm with you but I'm 37 weeks got wayyyy longer to wait which is making it worse Haha!

2dogsandPG · 19/04/2019 09:20

I've run out of rooms to nest in 😂 We've been to the tip so many times, and cleaned on top of our cleaner's cleaning.

Nursery is all ready too (even though he'll be in with us for the first 6 months) and all his clothes etc are washed and ready to go.

I'm just excited and impatient now!
