Pregnancy Ultrasounds Dates!

Apologies for the long post!

I found out I was pregnant on 19th March (last period was 1st Jan - I am breastfeeding!). I wasn’t expecting to fall pregnant as was waiting for another period.

I think I must have ovulated around 6th March looking back at symptoms etc.

I went for an abdominal ultrasound on 9th April & they estimated 5-6 weeks, however I don’t think this can be correct as we saw a heartbeat (121bpm) and baby, sac etc. Plus I can’t have got the positive test until around 4 weeks pregnant?? I was estimating 7 weeks pregnant at the time of the scan. Has anyone else had this? I have another scan on 28th May.

I had a scan at 5+3 and saw baby sac heartbeat etc, but these scans are not accurate, they only become accurate after 10 weeks and it can even change again at 12 week scan so I wouldn't look to much into it!
