Constantly Tired but unable to sleep at night

Has anyone else experienced this? I get heartburn, nausea, and an uncontrollable urge to pee constantly at night; but then feel so tired in the day I have to nap. It’s okay at the moment as I’m able to work from home but how do I manage this in the office?

I am only 7 weeks, and it’s fairly high risk, so I don’t want to tell anyone in case it goes wrong.

I could have written this! I'm napping and tired in the day and even when I don't nap I'm so tired but when I go to bed it's like I settle then need to per every 10 minutes! And then when I do fall asleep wake up with heart burn. I'd say it gets easier but I'm 11 weeks today and my sleeplessness was better when I was 7 weeks. Just sleep while you can.

Yep this is me, I'm currently 36 weeks and have been like this since about 31 weeks. I'm exhausted so have to catch up on sleep during the day when I feel most tired

goldopals · 18/04/2019 02:43

Yup! I'm 37 weeks and it's terrible. I wouldn't be coping had I had to deal with work or anything stressful

Me too! Am only 9 weeks but have been awake for the last hour since I last needed to pee. Am on holidays at the moment but not looking forward to going back to work next week as I'm just so tired during the day at the moment.

I definitely would have had a breakdown if I was still at work. No way I could cope.

I admire those women who work right up until their due dates

Exactly why I just came on here. Wide awake just because. 😩 napping during the day is fine but as soon as night hits it's a no sleep zone!

FraggleRocking · 18/04/2019 04:43

I sympathise. Stuck in the same boat. I’m in the office each day and to be honest it’s a real struggle. Rest when you can, go off at lunch and have a little sleep. I’m looking forward to Easter Weekend and a break from work.

It happened again last night, only I was awake with gas pain this time. So am exhausted again today. Looks like I’ll have to schedule nap breaks in the loo when I go back to the office next week. Shock

Oh no. It happened to me again last night. I reckon I got at most 3 hours of sleep

iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay · 18/04/2019 14:06

Id like to say it gets better it doesn't you just get used to it, I'm 36 weeks and still rarely sleep at night and feel like I could sleep all day whilst at my desk.

Foxmuffin · 18/04/2019 14:07

Yup! That’s it now until your child leaves home.

SRK16 · 18/04/2019 15:23

I’m 15 weeks and this is how it’s been since I was 6 weeks. So tired.

If you are willing to spend some money on getting some sleep, I do really like the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray
