Negative HPTs and no period for 4 months

Hi, I have searched numerous websites for information but I still feel so unsure. Basically I had the Mirena coil removed in November 2018, I had a normal period that lasted about 5 days at the end of November and December which appeared normal and regular. I was taking the degesterol pill which is the progesterone only pill. I had missed quite a few of these pills in December and January but didn’t really think much off it until end of January when I just had a feeling I was pregnant. It was really strange and then realised I was actually a week late. I took a hpt which was negative but I wasn’t convinced. I took more tests over the next couple of weeks again all negative but still no period. I was convinced I was pregnant. I already have two boys age 10 and 9 and when I was pregnant with them I just knew straight away. I also had other symptoms such as increased fatigue, more headaches than usual( I do usually get some). I was also having strange dreams and I had put on some bloating on my tummy which I did straight away with my children. I also went to have my hair done and it went orange with the bleach and didn’t take. This happened also with my 9 year old when I was pregnant with him. After numerous hpt came back negative I went to the GP and requested a blood test which was also negative. I then tried to convince myself that I was overthinking it and I wasn’t pregnant as my GP kept saying not. I left it a couple of months but still no period, my gp has put this down to my hormones due to the coil being removed but I had two normal periods after this then it stopped. I also forgot to mention I stopped taking the pill in January hoping that would start my period, no luck. I tried to keep telling myself I was being daft but, over the last 3 weeks I have but more bloating on, my stomach keeps fluttering and it doesn’t feel like wind, my nipples have been sore and this never happens to me. My sex drive has also increased massively and I have heartburn and don’t usually get this. I have not had a period for 4 months now. I went back to the gp and he said to do another hpt and if that was negative then I’m not pregnant and he would refer me to gynaecologist as it could be hormonal. He said it’s nothing else as I had a scan in November 2018 before having my coil out to check and was told that didn’t show any fibroids or anything. I have done another pregnancy test about three in the last week and again all negative, my gp just keeps saying I’m not pregnant because my serum at the beginning of Feb was negative . I feel like I’m going crackers. I did a calculator and worked out I would be about 15 weeks now. But I’m really not sure what to do. Every time I have done a test I keep saying to myself well if this one is negative I’ll know I’m not but each time I’m just not convinced. Sorry for the long message but any advice would be great. Also if anyone has had a similar experience x

It is possible to not show positive on a urine test and still be pregnant. But I f your serology came back negative, you’re not pregnant. If your levels were just low, you could be having a mmc which hasn’t passed, but I think in this case it’s sounding unlikely.

I would have the gynae appt when it comes through. Especially if you want to be pregnant, because the longer you let the hormonal imbalance last, it could have an impact on your longer term fertility.

I would strongly suspect this is hormonal. Good luck xxx
