Anyone keep tempting first trimester?

I'm wondering if anyone else apart from me will keep tempting in the first trimester?

So I read about a lot of women on here who keep taking pregnancy tests to check for potential mc as they're worried. I haven't done this yet because I'm tempting and my temperature remains high and well above the coverline.

Can I count on this to tell me whether something is going wrong with the pregnancy? (If the temp drops)? Anyone been in this situation?

Hi, how far along are you? I'm 8+4 with first baby, and I continued to temp every day for the first couple of weeks- it really wasn't a great idea. Any time my bbt dropped dropped a bit a would panic and my day would be ruined- it's honestly not worth the stress. The only 'advantage' it offers is potentially knowing a few hours in advance that something 'might' be wrong- try to think to yourself if that would honestly help you. I posted my chart a couple of times on here and was told to stop for my own sake by others- I did and felt 100% better for it.

I carried on temping on my last pregnancy. My temp stayed high. I had a little spotting. Went to early pregnancy unit. Internal exam showed everything looked fine. 2 hours later they rang to say my HCG was < 5, I was no longer pregnant. Next morning my temp was still high and the day after. 2 days later I miscarried. It was only on the day I had proper bleeding that my temp dropped.

Pregnant again now and I stopped temping the day I got my BFP.

Oh thanks so much for your advice! So I should stop then. No point I guess!

I am exactly 6 weeks today and have my first early scan end of next week.

I temped for 2 weeks, and kept track of HR. But as others say I just worried about checking it every morning, it really stressed me out, any change and I was mess. I also did extra preg tests. It was a relief to stop. I also turned off the HR feature on my watch - Ive only just turned it back on at 18w. When I had an mmc in a previous pregnancy my heart rate was the first sign things had ended. This time around I've had a lot of early scans - they've kept me sane.

I'm of the opinion that it's pointless. Sometimes your body doesn't recognise straight away that the baby has passed away, and so it will continue thinking and acting like the pregnancy is progressing. This is why missed miscarriages aren't picked up until a scan.
