You have to be a member for 48 hours before you can post pictures. When you can you use the paperclip (below text box on phone) or ‘choose file’ button below text box on safari/chrome etc.

Please don't colour code babies.

And do remember that blue baby syndrome is distressing, and so even inadvertent references in thread titles are best avoided.

Scans are generally black and white 😉

cutepeanut4 · 16/04/2019 12:38

I’m sure people know what I mean boy or girl? I have never even heard of this. No mother would be on here to upset anyone

Unfortunately we have seen quite a few posters who set out to make other people miserable and upset them so it does happen although I don't believe that was your intention.

I think pp is referring to the fact that "blue baby" is/was used to describe a stillborn child which obviously can be upsetting to some.

FilledSoda · 16/04/2019 15:15

I thought the pp was referring to 'baby blues' though I don't think that phrase is used much anymore.
'Blue baby' in the stillborn sense is something that would never have occurred to me , how awful.

@Cutepeanut4, don’t let other posters make you feel bad for your choice of words. There are some members who seem to revel in pulling people up for their use of the word gender instead of sex when it comes to whether you’re expecting a boy/girl. It almost makes me use the term deliberately to wind them up - and it isn’t helped that private scan companies market the scans as being gender reveal scans not sex reveal scans!! I quite liked your use of blue/pink and might add that to future posts of mine to wind them up a bit more!!
