.. Or know anyone who has.
The kind of pregnancy where you didn't know you were pregnant until after a very long while into your pregnancy.
Where pregnancy tests wouldn't pick up you're pregnant because your hcg levels are way too low to detect.

I suffered with what I thought was a cryptic pregnancy and convinced myself I was pregnant for 7 months, had no period (I was 27) , felt movements, went off certain foods and looked around 4 months pregnant (I’m a dress size 8). I did multiple trips to hospital to check hcg levels and paid for private scans it all showed nothing but I was still convinced after reading online you can still be pregnant with a cryptic pregnancy. I even lost what looked like a mucus plug around the time I thought I was due I had lost a baby a couple of years earlier so I think the longing for a baby brought it on and turned out I had multiple health issues hence the looking pregnant and no period at the time. The truth is if you are really pregnant hcg would be present in the blood and urine and these cryptic pregnancy stories online really can mess with your head a true cryptic pregnancy is when you have no idea you are pregnant and give birth so never test etc as testing would show that you are pregnant. Cryptic pregnancies tend to be those where the hcg levels aren’t tested. Really low chronic hcg without evidence of a pregnancy can indicate cancer.
