Miscarriage at 9 weeks

Devastated as there was no heartbeat at our scan last friday
Was supposed to be 9+4

Had another scan the week before and everything looked fine then and our little one had grown somewhat between scans so most likely the heart stopped few days before the Friday scan

Now am just waiting to see if the body takes care of it or if I will have to have a d & c

this was a iui pregnancy

Anybody bee
n through this and know how long we have to wait to start a again

I'm so sorry. I had a missed miscarriage with the same timing as you in 2017.

My 1 year old daughter, conceived one month post D&C for the miscarriage, is currently napping in her cot.

It was devastating at the time. It was such a wanted pregnancy. We were advised to have one cycle and then try again - we were lucky to fall pregnant immediately and go on to have our baby. Sending you good wishes. X

Flowers It depends on the clinic and the consultant. Our consultant told us quite frankly that they view any ivf pregnancy (including a miscarriage) as a positive and so would want to try again as soon as possible afterwards; basically one period. Not sure if it’s the same for iui.

I’m so sorry for your loss @currerbell1979.
I have been through exactly this just 3 weeks ago.
I had been having some brown spotting for a week which the midwife said was implantation bleeding but she could hear I was anxious so arranged a scan for next day.
I was meant to be 11+3 but the scan showed 6 weeks and it had stopped. That was on 24th March. So it had died 5 weeks previous. On Thursday 28th I was taken into hospital when I started with really bad pain and too much bleeding. Everything was passed then and I bled for a further 10 days. On Thursday coming will be 2 weeks since I stopped bleeding and we will start trying again.
It was my first pregnancy and we had only just begun trying.
I think it can take 3-4 weeks at the most for the body to eliminate it naturally.... this was in my case.
