Second pregnancy and just exhausted, anyone else?

I'm only almost 10 weeks but Ds is only 6 months and still breastfeeding so I know that's probably contributing. But I'm absolutely exhausted, and feeling much more pregnant than I did at this stage with Ds.

Dp's taken Ds swimming and I was planning on going for a run (still exercised throughout with Ds). Instead I've just eaten a bacon sandwich and I'm still in my pj's. I just can't seem to motivate and I'm feeling really lazy, but the slightest thing seems such effort at the moment.
Dp has been great and doing pretty much everything he can in regards to Ds and the house but he text when he got to swimming and asked if I was going for a run and I replied I couldn't be bothered, he text back saying maybe I should get a doctors appointment to get checked out as I seem unusually tired.

I wasn't really worried until he said that and thought it was probably just my body telling me to take it easy. I'm pregnant soon after the first and still breastfeeding and up once or twice through the night to feed. Now I'm wondering if it's something to worry about.

Christ it's no wonder you're exhausted! You've not long got into the swing of parenthood with your first, and now you have another pregnancy to deal with.

Don't really have advice but I suspect how you're feeling is totally normal. I suggest listening to your body and rest when you need to.

See if your midwife will check your iron levels, both haemoglobin and ferritin, as you probably haven't built up your iron stores after your first pregnancy. This happened to me and I had 18 months between pregnancies. Could take over the counter iron supplements but if you are iron deficient you'll need prescription strength supplements to make a difference to how you feel fast.

Thanks @Kittykat93. I'm thinking it's probably normal, think Dp is just worrying and comparing it to my pregnancy with Ds, I am struggling. I saw the midwife for my booking just over a week ago but I did kind of do that 'oh I'm ok, just a bit tired' thing'. Sh did say just rest when I can though and so that's what I've been doing.

Pull your horns in and rest. Second pregnancies are in no way the same. The tiredness combines with parenting an infant and it's double the toll on you physically. Eat a butty and go back to bed. You may well pick up a bit in the second trimester, but don't worry if not. Your life and body have changed and will change further. Just roll with it for the moment and look after yourself x

I'm taking a pregnancy supplement that contains iron @sunday38. Maybe I should ask about that though. I don't think my next appointment is until 16 weeks ish now. Is it worth asking for an appointment before then or just waiting to see how I feel?
Did have quite a busy day yesterday so it's not like I'm not doing anything at all. But today I'm really feeling 'can't be bothered'.
