Morning all,

We have 2 DDs and weren't TTC although have never completely ruled out another (although my DH may say otherwise 😅).

My last period started on 23rd March. We DTD on (we think!) 30th March. My cycle is always relatively short, between 24 & 26 days.

Which means period due weds roughly. I always, without fail, spot for a good 4-5 days before full flow kicks in and as of yet, no spotting.

Some time last week, maybe Tues, I had some cramping, off to one side and all around my back. Lasted on and off for a good part of the day. Unusual for me but didn't think anything of it.

I'm now getting shooting pains in my left breast on and off and have noticed I'm particularly emotional; I cried before titanic even started the other night! And nearly punched the wall when I missed a delivery yesterday, my blood literally boiled then I felt like crying! How ridiculous! It was at that point that I started wondering and connecting the "symptoms". Could the cramping have been implantation etc. So I ran out and got a two pack of tests.

Yesterday afternoon, did one and to my surprise, a very, very faint blue line appeared. Sorted my stuff out, had a look again and it had gone?

Did another this morning first wee and BFN.

Beginning to get my hopes up now but wondering if its all in my head 😣

It does seem unlikely as DH actually withdrew although I think he pushed it on timing and using that method is actually what gave us DD1.

Is it possible for a faintly positive result to disappear? Or was I just imagining it?

It could of been an evap, wee travelling along window or a positive, try another test both my tests with clear blue were positive and disappeared after 5 minutes or so! I'm now 36 weeks! Xx

Thank you! I'm reading into everything now, driving me a little insane. Going to try and forget about it I think and test again in a couple of days if still no sign of AF. It's still mega early I guess. Humph.

I'd see a GP as a matter of urgency; literally boiling blood is probably fatal.

Seriously, you're right. Give it a few days and test again.

Haha! You had me for a second then! 😅

Aaaaaand with that I start spotting! Nevermind! My body is obviously just being weird this month, cramping whilst spotting which NEVER happens. I only ever cramp for the first day or two of full flow.

If nothing else though, it's opened the dialogue between DH and I for actively trying for a third so that's a twist on how I thought 2019 was going to go! 😀
