Hi all, so I'm 14 weeks today after a really long journey to get pregnant. I'm obviously delighted but I've never felt so poorly.

I've had a cold now for 2 weeks, spent most of my time asleep or in bed. Struggling to eat, if we go out I cant wait to get home.

My right boob is lumpy and agony and the gp has said I've got mastitis and put me on antibiotics.

Now I've got bright red cheeks and have seen the midwife who thinks it could be slapped cheek and has taken bloods and has said I cant possibly have mastitis. That it's likely I have a cold and a swollen gland from a viral infection.... but my boob is killing.

I am currently sat here In tears and I just want to feel better.

Does anyone have any advice? I'm dreadfully anxious now that it could be slapped cheek.
.
I am stupid because I thought this was going to be the easiest bit- growing the baby.

Hi if u have slapped cheek they can do things and your baby will be fine, if u do have it please make sure u get extra scans to make sure everything is ok.
As for feeling ill,u will get better with time just have to ride it out, keep resting it will help u get better quicker.x

Thank you.

I'm stumped about my sore boob :-(
Sadly I do long shifts so will have to just rest around them

I’m 13 weeks and have mastitis, so completely possible.
