I'm almost 5 weeks. This will be my third child.

I knew within around 3 days DPO I was pregnant so like to think I'm pretty in tune with my body.

This one hasn't felt right to me at all. I know some pains are normal and every pregnancy is different.

This time I've felt excessively crampy. Not had any signs of bleeding. But a few days ago I had a recurring sharp pain what felt like on the right side of my hip and was shooting down my right leg.

That eventually stopped. But within the last hour I now have a sharp pain on the right side of my lower back and I've got numbness down the entire of my right leg.

Has any experienced this before? Reluctant to ring the EPU as the hospital in my area is notoriously shite and midwives can be quite condescending...

I'm not doubled over in pain (yet) but I certainly know it's there.

You need to get checked out - could be a trapped nerve or something similar. If you lose bladder or bowel control you MUST call an emergency ambulance. Hope you're ok x

Hi i had really bad pain on my left side from 5-7wks, it was so bad i had to go to hospital got a scan and everything was fine. This week i have had a sharp pain lower down. I got told will be my body changing and stretching
If u get worse then see your gp or hospital, just to be safe.x

I called 111 and as they do, they send out an ambulance (so embarrassing)

They said it could be nerve related and it's hereditary. Both my Nan and mother have problems with sciatica.

Said if it gets any worse to call them again.
