Nipple constriction - Raynaud’s disease

Hi I’m 21 weeks pregnant and have been suffering with nipple constriction since 9 weeks pregnant. I initially tried to avoid medication but I started nifedipine about 5 weeks ago, but I find that I still have a lot of pain, my nipple goes white and I’m just generally fed up with it. People say it is cold temperature related but I can get it from moving from one room in the house to another, whilst being completely wrapped up.
I’ve read some stuff online but most people talk about it with breastfeeding. Does anyone else have any experience of it in pregnancy or even pre pregnancy?

Oh my word - is that its official name? I’ve been plagued by this in every pregnancy! Left nipple worse than right each time.

So. Fucking. Painful.

You might be pleased to know mine went completely post pregnancy and no issues with breastfeeding.

I took to wearing really padded bras, and lots of layers. I’m not sure if it helped! So I can only really offer sympathy Flowers

No squirrels
So glad to hear yours went away and didn’t affect feeding.
Mine is also more on one side. Very odd and bloody painful !

Actually was one of the first signs I had in early pregnancy ... would’ve preferred a rather nicer tip-off! For me it was as if I’d get shooting stabbing pains. Ouch. Invest in thermal vests? And microwave hotties are useful for quick relief (no good out and about it at work though!)
