Hi all,
My jeans are beginning to get a little tight so I wanted to start looking at maternity jeans.
Does anyone have recommendations for over bump skinny jeans - preferably under £30?
Thank you!

I'm living in the Dorothy Perkins ones at the moment. Lovely and comfy. Also tried on a pair of skinny jeans in Mothercare at the weekend that didn't quite fit me properly but were lovely otherwise! ASOS have some nice ones too although I haven't tried overbump ones from there, just underbump ones before my 12 week scan.

I wish I could wear them! I am apple shaped so my lack of hips and bum mean that neither under nor over bump jeans will stay up. Sigh. My non maternity jeans are high waisted and have a belt - but I have no waist any more. I've become a skirt and dress person, not my usual style at all.

I still have 'tall' over bump Next jeans languishing in my wardrobe. They are nice quality so I should really sell them on. The only thing I'd say about over bump anything is they can get very hot!

H&M have a good selection at reasonable prices (around £18-30). I love the Topshop Joni over bump but they are around £40. Just bought some New Look over bump shorts for summer from Asos for around £20 which are very comfy.

I liked Asda maternity range ... it was inexpensive and could pick up when doing my food shop ( order online only ) x

Thanks all, it's so hard to find some as everything seems to have poor/mixed reviews online!

Try boohoo I got all my maternity clothes from there

Also I got a belly band off eBay for £4. I could wear my normal jeans/trousers with the button and zip undone and the belly band over

I second h&m, I've bought two pairs which have been great and so comfy. One of them was £25 and the other £35. I went for h&m as I normally like their jeans anyway, and also they seemed to have the best reviews online and lots of women talk about how good they are!

FrancesV83 · 12/04/2019 16:10

Definitely H&M for me, reasonably priced and very comfortable.

Are a and new look worked for me and cheap compared to other places

New look jenna over bump- I have lived in these! They're a fab fit.
Asda are also great and h&m super skinny although these are slightly tighter they look amazing.
I didn't like boohoo - I felt the over bump fabric was too thick so didn't look nice under my tops.
Congratulations!

I've just got some new look Emilia skinny jeans over the bump and I love them! Fit well and I e washed and tumbled them a few times now and still come out great ☺️

Over bump Joni from Topshop are lovely- so comfy and look great (but £38 so a bit expensive). My sister passed her mat clothes on to me and the Topshop jeans are still in good enough shape four pregnancies later.

Another vote for H&M. I get there otb jeggings as the are by far the most comfortable.

Waffle12 · 12/04/2019 20:29

Another vote for H&M. Reasonable price, good fit, nice and soft. And the bump band material is thin but feels supportive-some others I have tried on seem to have very think material on the bump bit which I dont like.

Snowdropheaven · 12/04/2019 20:30

H&M £35 ones were the only ones I got on with.

DinoMamasaurus · 12/04/2019 20:33

Another vote for H&M! Over two pregnancies I’ve tried Next, Seraphine, Blooming Marvellous (from Mothercare), H&M and New Look.

The H&M and Blooming Marvellous are my favourites.

PhoebeBear · 12/04/2019 22:34

I have some from New Look- my favourite!

I had H&M, Mothercare and Seraphine. I preferred the Seraphine denim ones as they were most like my non maternity ones in colour but they all fit well. I was in H&M last week and they had a lot of their maternity jeans in the sale for £15-20. If you've got a John Lewis near you then pop in to the nursery section to see if they've got a rail of returned maternity clothes as this is where I got all of my Seraphine stuff from, essentially they stock it online and only in one or two actual stores so when people buy online then return to store they just put it out in the nursery section at a majorly reduced price and accept they will make a loss as it's "cheaper" than sending it back to the warehouse etc... Or at least that's how it was explained to me when I queried why everything was 75-80% off meaning the jeans were £15 and cheaper than high street stores. I definitely wouldn't pay full price for them.

this is my third pregnancy and I bought a pair from gap but off eBay for about £10 they are the comfiest and come in at the bottom so aren't baggy I found the newlook ones far too big! I also like h&m but the quality of the gap ones are brillant
