Long awaited 2nd baby. I've had cramps and pinky brown discharge yesterday and today. The cramps are like mild period pains. Is this the end? I feel sad and like I don't want to hold on to hope as I have a feeling its over. Has anyone ever experienced similar who can tell me what happened to them?

@Blondielongie ring your GP and ask them to refer you to EPU, I had red blood and sharp stabbing pains above my pubic bone my GP got me an appointment the next day at EPU and I had already come to terms with losing the baby so when they scanned me I nearly fell of the bed when the baby was wiggling around!! Then the Sister on EPU said unless its soaking a pad try not to worry to much but ring back if I needed to, I am 13 weeks tomorrow xx

Similar happened to me a few times between 6 and 8 weeks. I'm now 28 weeks! Agree with the above re asking to see EPU to check everything out.

Thank you for the positive stories. Its gone bright red now and a bit heavier. I've called the doctors and have got a scan booked in this morning. I'm expecting the worst now.

Hiya, I've had the scan. Loads more blood and clots :( they couldn't find the pregnancy, they said it was a pregnancy of unknown location. Still have a positive test so need blood tests now. I think I passed the sac this morning before the scan. They want to rule out ectopic. Slight chance the pregnancy is just too early to see but I doubt it's continued with the amount of blood.
