I am 8+2 and have been suffering with awful nausea for three weeks. The moment I wake up until the moment I go to sleep and eating has been a struggle. I've also been exhausted and boobs have been so sore to even brush past. The last two days the nausea has gone, I have not been tired at all and my boobs are only a little sore now. This led me to waking up in the night and laying awake for three hours that something could be wrong. This is my first pregnancy so everything is new to me. I've been off work on annual leave since Saturday so I'm hoping that doing nothing for 4 days has helped my body to rest a little.

Hi @Chanel05 seems like you might just have a tough pregnancy.. everyone is different when it comes to it.
I'm 23 weeks with my first and I've only ever had the sickness feeling around week 11 and 12 and actually been sick once.
However I had a friend who was sick every day and couldn't keep food down, she's due in 3 weeks and it only just subsided for her about a month ago..
My nipples have only now started to hurt as I realised yesterday they have started leaking, so I guess it's all down to the person.
For sickness eat some ginger biscuits as they help, maybe if it continues go see a doctor but I'm not sure what else they can do for you.
I remember in December when I first found out I was pregnant and every little thing that happened I would over think and worry- remember your body is changing and it's all new. Try to relax, you'll be fine x

I had a similar experience (although my nausea was only ever mild) where my symptoms seemed to fade around 8 weeks so I panicked and booked a private scan. Everything on the scan was perfect and the baby had a strong little heartbeat, which I found very reassuring! The following week I was sick a couple of times and then most of my symptoms faded again. Had my 13 week scan yesterday and there is a very active little wriggler in there and apart from slightly achy boobs I have barely any symptoms. Have you considered a reassurance scan to ease your worries? I know it only offers a snapshot of how your baby is that day, but I was told that a if a good heartbeat is seen at 8 weeks your chances of a successful pregnancy are over 95%.
