Measuring behind??

I'm currently 17+2 and had a scan Friday just gone and the sonographer said baby was measuring at about 11.5cm, all posts I read say that around this time baby should be about 13cm. Should I be worried that she's a little under this?

Hi and congratulations. I really wouldn't worry. If there was anything to be concerned about the sonographer would have called a Dr into the room to check. Hope this helps. Have a wonderful pregnancy.

Really don’t worry, they grow in little sprints quite often (both inside and outside the womb!).
I’ve had this in both pregnancies, your midwife will refer you for extra scans if your bump is a bit smaller then expected further down the line.

@Nurry please try not to worry, it absolutely depends on a) the sonographer, b) the position of the baby and c) it is all just an average, something to go on. Some babies measure ahead and some a little behind but as a PP said, you might go back again and find a growth spurt, or you might just be having a smaller baby.

I really stressed the same as you but I had two scans about 15 mins apart and both the sonographer and consultant got different measurements!
