Hi all, new here.

Really upset today, I have a 2yr & 3yr old, both born because of 2 different pills failing to work! We tried the pill out method that worked for 2 years and then my Dr convinced me to have the coil put it as it's the most reliable form of contraception! I got it fitted in January and today hubby got me a test as I'm 4 days late but usually like clockwork & low and behind its positive, it's a light second line, but not faint!

I've just got a new amazing job and start next month, I have no idea what I'm going to do. 😭 Any one been through this? 3 different contraception fails, how is it possible to be this fertile, or is it his super sperm!???

You need to see your GP ASAP due to increased risks of eptopic pregnancy.

You have options and you don’t need to make a decision straight away x

Call your GP urgently.

I'm also pregnant on the coil, as others say you need to contact your GP, be vigilant about pains etc. With the coil in place (unless it's fallen out) there is a high chance it'll be ectopic or that you will miscarry so I wouldn't think too far ahead just yet, I am miscarrying.

Thank you for all your replies I'm getting another test now and if it's also positive I will call my gynae ward at the hospital where I had the coil fitted.
Honestly at Whits end, having 2 children from two different kinds of pills, had a miscarriage after the morning after pill failed to work and now pregnant on the coil. Feeling like at 23 my only options are hubby getting the snip, but we wanted the option of another child when our children are older.
