Just got a BFP!! Grin

My period is only about a day late and I told myself I would wait to take a test but I just couldnt haha but soo happy it was positive!

I didnt have much hope of it happening as we have been trying since august and im still breastfeeding my 20 month old pretty regularly and thought it was effecting my chances.

Anyway, not sure if i'd like to stop feeding him yet but worried about it effecting the pregnancy, a quick google says its probably fine but i just wanted to know if anyone is or has breastfed while pregnant to full term?

Also ive heard of milk drying up too so just lookin for others experiences :)

Thanks

I breastfed until I was about 29 weeks, and the only reason I stopped was because my nipples were so sensitive it caused pain 😂😂! But my little one was over 2 so he was fine with it anyway and adjusted well.

Breastfeeding is absolutely fine whilst pregnant, it won't harm your baby, and many woman do it. Like I said - I only stopped because my nipples couldn't handle it 😂!

Hope all goes well 💕

Congratulations! I have breastfed during two pregnancies. My first baby was my lightest, third heaviest so don’t listen to myths (it will take nutrients from the baby, you can’t feed two etc). My milk dried up at around 16 weeks. Both dry nursed which was fine as they needed the comfort. Milk came back around 28 weeks. Your body knows what it’s doing and will still make colostrum. Good luck!
