Broken toe, what can I do?

So I misjudged the door space last night and hit my baby toe off the door frame/wall. I think it's broken but as far as I've always heard, nothing can be done about a broken toe, it just needs time to heal??
But I'm 30 weeks pregnant now so there is a lot of weight to carry when trying to walk without leaning on that toe.
Can I actually do anything about it? I was thinking crutches would take off the pressure but then I'd be carrying my full weight with my arms which would be tough too...
Any ideas?

Oh ouch you poor thing. Ice broken multiple toes (usuall tripping up or falling down stairs Hmm) so I feel your pain.

Strap your little toe to the next one to keep it relatively immobile. It will help with the pain/discomfort. Arnica gel to help with any bruising/swelling maybe? (Haven’t checked if it’s safe in pregnancy so do that first!) crutches will help for a day or too if you can get your hands on them but you shouldn’t need them for much more than that. Try and take it easy and put your foot up when you can! (Often easier said than done I know!-one of my breaks was while I was on mat leave with a crawling 7 month old, a week before we went on holiday for a week!)

Hope it’s better soon!
