I'm currently 15+ 3 and have been told a whole mix of girl or boy suggestion. I was wondering what people on here think.

Your baby’s sex is 99.99% likely to be either girl or boy.

AllStar14 · 07/04/2019 20:32

How on earth will anybody be able to tell the sex of your baby from this picture?

PhoebeBear · 07/04/2019 23:30

@amieeb sorry there's people like this on mumsnet, you'll come across it a lot.
Unfortunately I cannot see a nub on the scan photo. Good luck OP

TildaTurnip · 07/04/2019 23:35

Skull theory would suggest female from the shape at the front of the skull (males tend to have more of a slope).

Great photo-so clear! Congratulations

Loudloopy · 07/04/2019 23:36

Boy 💙

PatricksRum · 07/04/2019 23:41

Never understood how people find it fun guessing gender.

PhoebeBear · 07/04/2019 23:52

@PatricksRum how is it not fun?
Guessing if you're going to have a little son or daughter.. how can that not be fun 🙄

PatricksRum · 07/04/2019 23:56

@PhoebeBear you're basing your guessing on nothing so you might as well pick a gender out from a hat.
Everyone is so preoccupied with gender.

PhoebeBear · 08/04/2019 00:01

@PatricksRum actually when a nub is visible you can tell.. that's why I said I couldn't guess on this image

PatricksRum · 08/04/2019 00:04

@PhoebeBear Nub theory isn't accurate.
If she was further along and a sonographer could tell then perhaps but then that's not a guess.

MoreSlidingDoors · 08/04/2019 00:14

It’s not even gender, FFS.

SleepingSloth · 08/04/2019 00:23

Bore off. Plenty of trans threads for you to comment on, on other boards.

OP, I think it's a girl. Congratulations.

PatricksRum · 08/04/2019 02:52

Bla

Shadow1234 · 08/04/2019 03:07

I'm also guessing girl, based purely on skull shape, as I cant see a nub in your picture .

MoreSlidingDoors · 08/04/2019 06:54

Nothing to do with that.

OP (original post/poster), I think it's a girl. Congratulations.

And if you do find this out whilst pregnant then odds are that the language you use and the purchases you make will impact on her for the rest of her life - lower pay, limited opportunity, particular expectations.

PhoebeBear · 08/04/2019 08:00

Oh god OP for your sake I really hope it's not a girl or a boy you're having according to all these comments!
If it's a girl she's going to get lower pay! And a boy- well god knows! You might have to choose from one of the other 70 genders out there to make your alien baby accepted in life ffs

Like a precious poster said.. bore off you lot. If you want to post your 'seX aND GenDeR ArE DifFrENT' bullshit then find another thread that wants to hear it

amieeb · 08/04/2019 08:01

@MoreSlidingDoors just to let you know I am finding out the sex of my baby next week. This however does not mean that I will raise my baby any different than if I didn't know. I plan to let my child express them self however they would like to whether that is wearing pink frilly dresses or typical " boy clothes". I highly doubt my newborn baby will care either way though so for now the decision is mine

OP posts:
PhoebeBear · 08/04/2019 08:08

@Aimily on the topic I think your little one looks like a girl. Skull shape is more round and I see a small 'dash' which looks like a nub. Here's my boy for reference, skull is more bulkier. Congrats x

@amieeb sorry tagged wrong poster

MoreSlidingDoors · 08/04/2019 09:37

Sorry (not sorry) but the facts don’t match your opinion. Loads of evidence for the harm that gender stereotyping does (not just the current trans debacle). You do t have to like it, but it’s real.

@MoreSlidingDoors after getting halfway through your article and almost falling asleep I would just like to say thank you for making me laugh today. Now you can raise your children however you like and I will raise mine how I like.

OP simply wanted opinions on whether people thought boy or girl because she's excited I imagine. Nobody here is interested in your sex not gender comments or links. There will be many threads where people will be interested in your views so you should find one of those.

X post, I didn't even bother to click the link.

Hope you come back and tell us what you are having when you find out.
