Maternity belly bands - are they worth it ?

Hi, this is my second pregnancy but with my first I had no bump until about 30 weeks so I never felt the need to get a maternity support band, however I'm in my second pregnancy now with MCDA twins, I'm only 14 + 3 but already starting to feel the pressure of carrying two. My stomach is how it was when I was 30 weeks with my first, I mean I was tiny but seems big to me ! I'm also uncomfortable when I sit leaning over, and I'm having crampy sensations under the curve of my stomach. I'm desperate to get back into the gym as I used to go every two if not every day but had to stop after a bleed at six weeks, we then found out at 12 it was twins and they've said I can go back, but I don't want to go back if I'm not being supported correctly.

Jeans are long gone and I'm mostly in smock dresses and culottes that go over the bump. I don't even think maternity jeans would feel comfy. I don't know if I'm still too small to have a support band, no doubt I will be big enough soon, but I was wondering if they are actually worth while and did they help anyone ? And where did you buy it ?

TIA X

Hi ,i used one and it worked for me supported my bump helped my pain i had too esp when i was working and on my feet, im sure i got mine at mothercare ,i will be using it this time too. I dont think u will be too small mine had velcro so could go in small, you could go into place like mothercare and try them on x

@Angelinthenightx very helpful thanks ! I have an 18 month old so constantly on my feet running about after her. I'm already seemingly having round ligament pain and I don't really want it to become unbearable so I'll deffo nip to mothercare and try some on. Thankyou :) x
