Is this still Braxton hicks?

I am a first time mum to be so unsure of labour signs!

Almost 36 weeks pregnant and for the past couple of weeks Iv been having little tightenings now and then, I mentioned then to my midwife and she said this is Braxton hicks.

5 days ago I went to epu for reduced movement and whilst on the monitor the midwife noticed I was getting these tightenings and asked if I could feel them and if they were painful. I could feel them but no pain whatsoever so again they said just Braxton hicks and I was ok to leave once I was happy with baby's movement.

Since waking up this morning I have been feeling these tightenings again but this time they are a lot more uncomfortable than usual and I can feel it around my back as well as lower stomach which I haven't before. They still aren't what you would call painful so I know they aren't contractions but I'm just wondering if this is something else? Is it something worth ringing about or can Braxton hicks just get a little more uncomfortable as you get closer to your due date?

The midwives always say to contact with anything that worries you in pregnancy especially in the last trimester.
