Bump disappearing when I tuck in stomach?!

Hi all. I am currently 21 weeks pregnant and have a full on, hardened round bump at this point. This is when I am relaxing in my normal state, walking around and just existing really.. but when I suck in my stomach.. it disappears and I find this really concerning. I've enclosed two photos for reference and just want someone's opinion. Thank you. Is this normal?

It doesn’t look all that different in the second photo, suspect it just feels more obvious to you. There is definitely a pronounced bump in both of those photos and it’s normal for it to look different - especially if you’re intentionally holding it in, your stomach muscles will just be temporary holding it closer to your spine.

I do this 😂 I’m 32 weeks i Have a proper bump but I can still suck it in abit , don’t worry it’s normal xx

What are you worried might be happening when you suck in your tummy?

MrsXx4 · 07/04/2019 13:03

There is a definite bump in both photos. I think its totally normal.

Looks normal to me. What do you think is happening? Your baby is still there.

This is your first baby is it? When your stomach muscles aren't entirely fucked up yet?! Grin

I'm 28 weeks and having a girl and your bigger than me I got a small bump and I'm on my 3rd child

I'm nearly 21 weeks and my 'relaxed' bump is your second pic and if I hold it in, I don't look pregnant at all. I never thought I had particularly strong stomach muscles but I think they're better than I thought. It's no biggie though, there's such a huge variety of bumps that I wouldn't worry!

I’m 22 weeks with my second and can do the same
