I've done 3 positive home pregnancy tests but my blood test at the doctors was negative. I look pregnant. I'm confused and upset. Have I lost the baby? Or could I still be pregnant? I'm confused. Please help x

It is very rare for a blood test to be inaccurate but some pregnancy tests can look positive when they actually have evaporation lines on them - and a couple of brands actually produce false positives (not many but have look on google about false positive tests).
When was your period due and how far along do you believe yourself to be?
Which brand of pregnancy test have you been using and when have you been testing? Have you checked the test within the valid time as per the instructions?
What advice did the Dr offer you based on your belief and positive pregnancy tests versus negative blood test?
If you feel you look pregnant then you would be quite a number of weeks into pregnancy and it would definitely show up on a blood test.

I had this.
But then 2 weeks later took another home came back with a strong positive and got the doctors to take another blood test and there’s came back positive.
They said it had to be a new pregnancy, but I was sure it was the same.
I had to have an early scan and I was right. By the doctors they said I could only be 5 weeks pregnant, scan came back as 7+3weeks. They still don’t know why it happened.
I would wait a couple of weeks and then ask them to take more blood.
If still negative, I would ask them for some answer as why it is showing on the sticks but not blood. It might be they need to do some more test etc.
I hope that helps.

I did 2 home tests which came up with a slight line, docs did test which was with litmus paper (load of crap!) came back negative. I left the clinic in tears as I believed I was pregnant with my first. Headed to asda and got a clear blue test- I'm pregnant 2-3 weeks! Doc says maybe I was too early to show up on the test.
However I'm not sure about a blood test though, I would think they would be more accurate x
