I am 27 weeks pregnant and have a really weird pain across the top of my bump, it doesn't hurt too badly, it is like I have pulled a muscle but it is uncomfortable and is making me breathless as well.
Could this just be the baby moving up into my lungs or shoudl I worry? I just can't get comfy!

I had something similar at about that stage. I don't think it's anything to worry about, Chirpy .. but of course, mention it to your midwife

What's so silly is that DD is only 17 months and I can't remember this from last time!
I would call the midwife but I am covered by a group and the one on tonight is a bitch! Like I say I am sure it is nothing serious but she always makes me feel like a complete wimp....

Hiya, I've been getting weird pains around my bump like having a stitch only it goes on for ages. I asked the consultant yesterday about it and he said that pg women often have unexplainable pains around their bumps and that unless it goes on for a very long time (uninterrupted) or is triggered by baby moving, not to worry about it.

HTH

(p.s. if you're 27 weeks, are you due in Sept? If so, come join us on the Sept thread if you haven't already! )

Thanks PLP, I rememebr the 'non-specific pain' thing from last time, they just said everything was that!
