36 weeks pregnant with period pains

Got a c section booked for 25th April.
I'm 36 weeks and 2 days.
Baby has been Frank breech since 32 weeks and doesn't seem much chance of him moving, especially as hes estimated quite big.
I keep getting period type pain, they fill me with terror.
Is it just basically Braxton hicks? They're not terrible and only happens a few times a day, I do not want to go into any kind of labour.
I want my nice, relaxed, schedule c section.
Are these normal?

Hi lovely, I have no advice but just to say I'm in the exact same position with the exact same c-section date! I also lost some of my plug the other day so thought she was making an early appearance! xo

You need to speak to a midwife.
Nobody can really advise you on here because period pains could be early labour.
If your baby is breech you should probably be checked over.

I’m the same but 23rd April and have lots of protein in wee but no other symptoms. Just taking it easy for the next couple of weeks. I said to my OH I keep getting period type pains but only randomly and they don’t hurt a lot.
