Hi,

Asking for advice! I'm 18 weeks pregnant and meant to be going to a party at the in law's in 2 days. I've just been informed that my husband's nephew (aged 2) has a 'viral rash with spots' but apparently it isn't chicken pox.

Am I right to be cautious and not want to go?! Or am I overreacting?!

Many thanks!

They apparently said it's just a viral rash but I wondered about slapped cheek. Thanks for your advice, I just needed another opinion. So I'll stay away. Thanks again x

Definitely stay away. You don't know what it is, or what effect it might have. At the least you could come down with a nasty bug. A party is not worth the risk.
