Long cycles after miscarriage

Hi, not sure if this is the correct place to put this in but thought I would write it any way. Hope you all okay. I had a miscarriage at the beginning of Feb at 5 weeks pregnant. My period came on the 20th of March. Now I caught on my third cycle from coming off the pill. They ranged from 32-35 days. My cycle since the miscarriage was 36 days and it looks like this cycle I’m going to ovulate later than I did before the miscarriage. Is this normal? Will my cycles go back to the 32 mark or should I seek medical assistance?

Thanks xx

Hi Claire78564
I have had 2 m/c now and ever since the first one, my cycle lengths have been very irregular whereas before I was 28 days like clockwork. I had one a few months back lasting 34 days ! As far as I am aware this is normal and is just your body coming to terms with the effects of m/c but if you are concerned, book to see your GP :)
X

I am 7 weeks pregnant now and it has been around 10 months since my last m/c. I have been under the care of a recurrent m/c unit who couldn't find anything wrong with me which is promising I suppose. Just have to hope this one sticks ❤

The difficulty with an irregular cycle is identifying your fertile window. I started using cheap ovulation sticks and tracking it in an app.

Just keep trying 💑 x

It's normal unfortunately. It took me 7 weeks to ovulate after my miscarriage

Claire78564 · 05/04/2019 20:17

Omg wow congratulations. If they didn’t find anything then I’m sure all will be well with this one. How soon did you get pregnant? Yep I’m using the ovulation sticks and the clue ap :). We have been doing the smep plan...fingers crossed it works. All the best to you. @bambamber, it does suck doesn’t it! Main thing I spose is that we ovulated. Xxx

I had mc in November, my cycles are usually like clockwork (my period arrives at the same time of day every 4 weeks!!) but sure enough they went haywire!
First cycle was 22 days, next cycle 35 days! I then got pregnant again, but based on how they’ve dated my pregnancy I ovulated a week before I ‘should’ have!?!
So I’d say don’t worry and don’t think go would be concerned xx
Sorry for you loss, and good luck xxx

@Ambs81 it’s so annoying isn’t it. I almost feel punished for wanting to have a baby. Bad enough losing one only to have things go a bit crazy. Nice to hear that despite your cycles being a bit crazy, you are now pregnant again. Based on before the pregnancy I would of been ovulating around tomorrow but that doesn’t look like it’s the case this time...gonna stick at trying. All the best to you x
