Positive test, feeling confused and need reassurance

Hello,

Feeling a mix of emotions! Just had a positive test which I'm over the moon about but so anxious also.

I had a miscarriage in feb and only had a d&c 6 weeks ago. It was a missed miscarriage found out at 11 weeks but only a sac visible.

Haven't even had a period yet, we were advised not to try until after first period due to dating reasons. Is it even possible for me to be pregnant is the test wrong?

Also is my body even ready for this? Feeling all sorts at the moment!

I don't know whether D&C is the same as a natural m/c in that they send you away with a test and advise you to check it is showing up as negative a couple of weeks after ? If so, did you get a negative result?
It might be worth booking in with your GP for them to do another test and they may be able to get you into the unit for an early scan 😁

I had a miscarriage 11 days ago and we were told not to try again until after I had my next period. Im thinking of starting on thread on this as I’m interested in how long people waited. I hope you get your answers soon xx

I was told that we didn't have to wait but that if you don't wait until after the first period it can then cause initial problems with dating x

Yes I got a neg test on the 21st of March. We were also told that we didn't need to wait as such, just that it can cause problems with dating as they don't have a last period to go off as my last period would have been back in November!

If I am pregnant it would be very very early as only dtd a day after negative pregnancy test.

Trying not to get my hopes up as may still be result of my miscarriage. Will book in with the doctor this week and see what they say.
