I didn't have any nausea at all, then got it at 16 weeks!!

I thought I was one of the lucky ones that has escaped it altogether.

Currently 20 weeks and its still lingering, although not as bad.

@kgeal3 I am 12 weeks on Monday (that went so fast!) my nausea stopped at 10 weeks but today I feel like iv been hit by a bus tired dizzy sick! I even had to take a nap and I NEVER sleep in the day!!! 💐💐 for us 😁

kgeal3 · 05/04/2019 16:20

Just feel it's taking over my life. I've managed to get to work (kinda don't have a choice) but daily tasks other than that are exhausting me and the nausea feels like it's just never ending, making me so miserable. I just want to enjoy this pregnancy without feeling rubbish all day 😭
I will add that I do know how lucky I am to even be pregnant with a thriving baby 💕💙 just hope the nausea goes soon

Mine got worse at 11 weeks - 12 to 17 weeks was a hellscape. I'm now nearly 19 weeks and the vomiting seems to be slowing down a bit. My midwife put me on Phenergan at my 16 week appointment although I didn't end up taking them as they made me super sleepy!

I’m 11+5 and having a really bad day. Haven’t been sick, but really feeling it. Had a good couple of days, now this. It normally means that tomorrow I will have a very sick day and not keep anything down.
It sucks doesn’t it. I feel grumpy all the time and really snappy at our poor puppy.

kgeal3 · 05/04/2019 17:24

I've honestly had enough of it 😭 last week I had a few days where I disappeared and I was so energetic again and thought 'yes' it's gone but by the weekend I was so bad again and as the weeks gone on I feel even worse. Hate to moan but it's no fun at all is it

That what I said to my DP today. Really not enjoying it.
I’m not sat in bed, with the worse heartburn and reflux. All everyone said it will be worse by the third trimester. I have a high pain tolerance too, so if it is going to get worse, I will be unbearable.

GiraffeMomma · 05/04/2019 22:01

Yes I completely get it. My sickness started at 4 weeks and at 15 is still going strong 🤢 It's worse at night so not only am I not sleeping but every morning I wake up with the optimism that today is the day it eases off, then it never is 😭 It's so exhausting feeling sick constantly and I'm the same, always battling with wanting to feel grateful but also hating having felt sick for 12 weeks. Doctor prescribed me tablets that stopped me actually throwing up but the nausea is still constant. He said 16-18 weeks is when it should settle down so I'm clinging to that!

kgeal3 · 06/04/2019 09:50

Ah ladies I hope you all get a break soon and get to enjoy your pregnancies without the sickness and nausea. It's a dreadful symptom of pregnancy isn't it 😭 I seem to be better in the mornings and worse at night too. I just go to bed really early because at least if I'm asleep I can't feel the sickness 🤣
I'm also hoping it subsided around 16 weeks 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I had it from 5 weeks to 16 weeks, then it went for 3 weeks and back again at 19 weeks. At 23 weeks I'd had enough and gave up dairy and tea (I'd already given up coffee) and it more or less went away. In 30 weeks now and still wearing the nausea wrist bands. I tried taking them off a couple of times but each time woke up nauseous again so I think I'l be keeping them on me until the baby's born

kgeal3 · 06/04/2019 10:44

@Cantthinkofausername1990 I don't really drink tea, only have a coffee once a day first thing (needed) but I do eat chocolate a lot. It's been a craving 😂 (any excuse)
Is it just the travel sick bands you use? I'll amazon some now, I'll try anything just to feel better x

My sickness comes and goes too! This week I’ve been ok, I’m 22 weeks now so I hope it’s gone!

Cantthinkofausername1990 · 06/04/2019 15:43

Yeah it's the travel sickness bands, I was sceptical about them and if they work but I definitely notice a difference now. When I don't wear them the nausea is back, if I keep them on I'm fine. Hope they work for you too
