Hi Im 35+2 and hoping to breastfeed but Im not sure when to get some nursing bras! You see my boobs have not got any bigger since I became pregnant well I went up one cup size sort of!!(yes confusing)
Now Im wondering if I should get some now or wait incase they decide to become the size of water melons in the next few weeks???!!!
any advice would be great

I think I would wait another 2 or 3 weeks. Then just buy a couple to start off with, and when you know what size you actually end up being, you can buy more. Shame it's not an exact science, isn't it?!

I asked in my (lovely) local independent lingerie shop.

They said to go in and get measured at 38wks and they'd help me choose ones that'd be able to take the strain if I suddenly ballooned when my milk came in but that would still fit even if I didn't.

If you started a D or larger, try Bravissimo. If not try JL, House of Fraser or Debenhams.
Avoid Mothercare like the plague till you're sure what size you are as they're not much cop at measuring IME.

The lady at my local shop (since closed, sadly) refused to sell us any in advance. She advised me to send DH out when the milk came in with updated measurements. We bought 2 bras at that point, they were both fine (Triumph, I think). I had to buy about 3 more in the end, but that's because I bf'ed for over a year.
