So, 31+2, second pregnancy, Braxton Hicks from about 16 weeks in both - a nuisance but not normally a problem. However since about 16.30 today they’ve been really strong and constant. Have done all the usual - hydration, putting my feet up and stil just as bad. Called antenatal assessment and they agree I’m not in labour - just need to sit it out and suggested paracetamol, which I’ve taken. But I can’t sleep. Any suggestions?

I have had irritable uterus since 34 weeks so I get these episodes a lot too. If you are confident you aren't in labour then I've found a bath helps. Also a hot water bottle on your back can sometimes do the trick.
