First trimester - anyone else struggling?

I've got a two week break from work starting next week and I'm so so ready for it. I'm 7+2 and I haven't been sick (yet) fortunately but I had nausea that lasts from the moment I wake up until the moment I go to sleep. I'm feeling absolutely exhausted despite being in bed and asleep by 8:30pm each night. Any tips on how I can get through the next 2.5 days. At the moment I am feeling like I have no idea how I can function for the rest of the working day. I'm a primary teacher so have a very active job and lots of little people who need attention.

No tips really but I know how you feel! I'm 11+1 and have really struggled.
I had HG and was admitted to hospital for a nights stay due to dehydration. Work has been really tough but I've nearly made it through the first trimester!
Hoping you feel less tired soon x

Oh poor you, I can't imagine having a job like that in my first trimester!

Can you reduce any of your working hours outside of school times e.g. if you normally stay late to get things done, can you take any of this home instead? Might be nicer to do it on the sofa in comfier clothes?
I don't know how these things normally work, but if you have any lunchtime/playground duties, could you ask to be excused from them for the next couple of days so you can have more of a rest at lunch? Obviously this might mean telling people about the pregnancy but might be worth it if its feasible and you're really struggling?

Other than that, try to focus on the positives. Its only two and a half more days, you've done over half the week already, and over half the first trimester! (I really don't mean to minimise at all, every day was a struggle for me in the first trimester but focusing on it just being two days might help)

Also I guess you're back at school after Easter Monday, and you'll be just over 10 weeks? I knows its different for everyone but I was at my worst around 8-10 weeks and after 10 weeks I really did start to feel better.

Thanks ladies for the messages! I went for a walk at lunch which helped a bit.

Hi @ Chanel05 not quite the same demand but I'm a TA and felt exactly the same as you 6-9 weeks, it's been a rough term! I finally feel a bit more normal this week (9+5) so hopefully you might luck out and start feeling more normal after the Easter holidays at 9 weeks too. I read somewhere that this is when your hormones peak so that's why lots feel better around now.

In the meantime, keep going to bed when you need to (one night I went from 8pm straight to 6am!) And keep eating frequently or whatever helps keeps your nausea at bay. I had to sneak off a couple of times to snack to get through a lesson but it does end!

@amehh @Chanel05 I work in a school too! I'm a TA, so totally understand where ur coming from! I'm only 5+3 but am completely exhausted atm!!! And if I dont eat on time I start feeling sick and as ull know, when u work with the lovley little ones, getting to have ur break on time or at all isn't always possible! Lol! So so so looking forward to the next two weeks so I can get some much needed sleep in lol!!

Hi everyone! Hope you don't mind me joining!

Got my BFP yesterday. Third pregnancy in 7/8 months (the joys...one natural msc at 5 weeks and one d&c at 11 weeks).

Hoping that third times a charm! I'm 28 and fit and healthy so who knows!

My question is - has anyone been taking Agnus Castus before they got their BFP and did you keep taking it in 1st trimester? Tried searching online but so many conflicting reviews!!

Thanks! 😘
