Positive or evap?

I have attached two photos of the same test.

I am on the pill and about five pills from the end of a packet but I normally take them continuously so not sure about a bleed.

Do you see a positive or is it a dodgy test?

Do these faint lines often prove to be false?

No, if the line appears within the time frame in the test instructions, it's a positive. They may disappear and you may have a bleed which signals it was a chemical pregnancy or you've had a very early miscarriage.

Posted too soon. You may wish to get a First Response Early Response test, and HCG doubles every 72hs I believe? So maybe wait until tomorrow morning or Friday morning if you can.

All other tests were negative!

Tbh I did one of these tests and it had a faint line and I wasn't pregnant. If you get a frer they are usually pretty reliable.

Line looks like it’s in a slightly odd place. If other tests were negative then I’d be dubious about this being positive tbh. I would test again on fri or sat 😊
