Just wanting to share some positivity as most of the threads i read about bleeding/spotting are full of worries and the dreaded M word
I’m 11+4 in my first ever pregnancy and had some brown spotting over the last 2 weeks, then after intercourse last week I had a really big bleed (bright red fresh blood)
Obviously the panic set in!
Went to my GP and got refferred to the EPU, had an early scan and baby was fine .. even gave us a little arm in the air!
Was reassured spotting is normal and bleeding can be down to a sensitive cervix esp after being irritated by intercourse
If you have any spotting or bleeding just go get it checked out straight away and try to avoid reading too much into it online assuming the worst
