Hi! I'm 11+1 and getting a little bump already! Other people are commenting on it. Those who know are making jokes about twins and 1 or 2 who don't know have asked if I'm pregnant or just putting on weight! Didn't expect to be raking out the baggy clothes this early. Especially not before 12 week scan. When did other people start to show?

I was about 16 weeks.

I’m a hairdresser and wore tight clothes anyway, when I told regulars I was pg at that point they all said they could see but still weren’t sure.
By 20 weeks it was obvious

I was the same as you and started showing before 12 weeks. Lots of people will tell you it’s just bloat and not a proper bump but mine was a definite bump. And yes it was obvious enough that people had noticed it before we announced the pregnancy after our 12 week scan. I went on to have a massive bump and measured ahead the whole duration. Currently pregnant with #2 and has been the same this time. It seems I just pop out early, lol.

I had a lot of bloating around 11/12 weeks but it was fairly easy to hide. It went down a lot after that and it's only really been in the last week that it's come back as more of a bump (now 19+3). I can still hide it with some careful dressing though!

Since I've got family I'm not telling til after the 12 week scan I'm hoping I can get away with a baggy jumper and saying I've been stress eating! It's a nice feeling when people point it out though. It's nice to know it's there :)

Aahh, much later for me. Was around 18 weeks, and only in tight clothing initially. Then I pretty much exploded overnight- had to go shopping whilst on holiday because I suddenly couldn't fit into any of my clothes!

8 weeks!

Bambamber · 31/03/2019 20:50

I was over 22 weeks before I had a proper little bump. Before that I just looked like I had eaten a heavy lunch

Bex1115 · 31/03/2019 21:43

@SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc 8 weeks oh my days! Was it hard to hide after that?

I started showing at about 13 weeks, however I am carrying twins

Quecom · 31/03/2019 23:56

First pregnancy for me, well second but I miscarried at 7 weeks last time.
I’m 11+3 and look 6 months. Been in maternity clothes now for 3 weeks. It a proper bump, not bloating. Even my midwife was like wow.
I think mine is a family thing, my mum and nan where the same.
I’m also a size 14, so not skinny, just show early.

kgeal3 · 01/04/2019 16:44

I was well into the 20+weeks but I was very very sick with dc1 and lost a lot of weight and bump didn't pop out until well passed the 20 week scan . I remember sitting looking at all the women with their big bumps thinking but mine is tiny and wishing I was bigger. I'm on baby 4 and they've all been the same. Baby 3 I was tiny. Now 11 weeks with baby 4 I'm wondering when I'll show this time x

Beckyv88 · 01/04/2019 17:42

Definitely bloated by about 12-15 weeks and starting not to fit regular clothes but wasn’t showing until 22+ weeks.
