Conceived late or molar pregnancy?

Currently driving myself crazy and I feel sick with worry.
So my last period was 31st January, and I haven’t had one since. Went to the doctors where they did a urine&blood test for pregnancy which both came back negative, (3 weeks ago) Missed my second yesterday so I
did another test which was positive! I was so shocked considering blood tests and urine were negative 3 weeks ago. I booked in for an early scan and they couldn’t see a sac or anything however if it was negative 3 weeks ago I didn’t think they would be able too. However, they did see a thick lining of the womb and referred me to the hospital. I went to the hospital yesterday evening and it’s came back yes I am pregnant, my levels are 500. Judging by my last period it’d make me 8-10 weeks so they have said not seeing anything at that point is impossible however I could of conceived late.
Do you think it’s possible I ovulated late and the baby is only young hence all tests now being positive, thick womb lining and not being able to see anything? They suggested molar pregnancy but I haven’t bled and it’s only been positive now.
I’m so sorry it’s long I can’t eat sleep or drink I’m so worried.

At 10 weeks with a complete molar pregnancy my hormone levels were 1.2 million. Even after it had been removed for a week they were still 68000 so I’d say it would be unlikely to be molar, from my experience.

I got scanned at 10 weeks and my uterus was filled with little balls which couldn’t missed.

I’d say you are very recently pregnant, which is why they are unable to see anything as your hormones are too low.

I agree the likelihood is it’s just very early pregnancy following delayed ovulation. Molar pregnancy is associated with much higher levels of hCG and usually has a characteristic “bunch of grapes” appearance on ultrasound.

When are they planning to rescan you?

Youvebeenmuffled- Thanks for the reassurance! I’m so sorry you had to go through that though too, it’s not a great experienceFlowers

Darkstar4855- Getting another blood test done tomorrow so hopefully it’s doubled, and I’m also getting another scan tomorrow. I’m so nervous
