Microbladed Brows while Breastfeeding???

Hi,

I am currently 33 weeks pregnant with my first 😍 due May 18th. It's my own birthday June 18th and i want to get my brows microbladed, I've had them done before so this is just is top up. I plan to breast feed at first and I'm wondering if anyone had their brows done while BF?? I have looked online and am getting mixed messages, most say the potential issues lie with infection. However im not worried about infection as the girl I see is top notch and as I said has done them previously with zero issues. I also know multiple others she has done who also have had no issues. Just looking for advice from anyone who may have got theirs done.

You should be fine, I would just ask your mw or hv, or if it’s a no wait for a few weeks and try mid feeding. Congratulations and good luck xxxx

Infection isnt necessarily caused by a bad practitioner, it can happen at any point in the healing process. Your immune system is still slightly lower when breastfeeding so the chances of infection are still slightly higher even with the best practitioner in the world, although I think the risks are still quite low anyway.

Double check with her that she would be happy to do it while your breastfeeding, as some places won't as a precaution. as last my as she's aware I'm sure there's no reason why not
