Sex in pregnancy? Who's having it? Anyone?

26+3 now and I had so hoped to be one of those women whose sex drive when up in pregnancy, but I'm really not.

We've probably had sex once a week since conception, but I just feel so fat and unsexy I'm not sure that will last. I also have backache, which is quite the mood killer.

When we do dtd, it's generally great, no pain etc. I just don't feel in the mood very often. Bless my OH has put no pressure on whatsoever, but I help feeling like I should be making more of an effort.

Curious to know what others experiences have been!

I'm almost 14 weeks and only just starting to feel myself again so dh hasn't been lucky once since about mid Jan when we found out. I was the same with dd though and me and dh have always had an up and down sex life so I think we just go with the flow.

I’m 28 weeks and we’ve had sex once since Christmas!

I have awful pelvic/pubic bone pain, and can barely walk some evenings so that doesn’t really put me in the mood, and I’m not sure any position would be at all comfortable.

I’m 11+ 4, was probably active sexually once a week and enjoying it until last week. Had a big bleed which was really horrid. Baby is fine just put down to an irritated/sensitive cervix, totally gone off the idea now.
I have my 12 week scan next week so maybe I’ll change my mind in an a few weeks but I’m generally so tired and falling asleep from 8pm

I'm 11+6 and we have sex whenever I'm not too tired! My sex drive has definitely gone up. Haven't had any bleeding after sex yet and I know that sex cannot cause a miscarriage.

It's really nice to have sex without worrying about getting pregnant because that horse has already bolted 😂 (pregnancy was unplanned and have never TTC)

I'm 11 weeks and so sick and sensitive to smells I don't want anyone near me, not even my poor husband. Hoping the second trimester is better and we can get things back on track.

Once a week is a lot even when not pregnant as far as I'm concerned! I've been at high risk of prem labour so no sex since conception and I'm now almost 34 weeks! It's been tough tbh but even when not pregnant we we only a 2-3 times a month couple.

In my first pregnancy, I think we dtd twice and that was just to kick start labour. I lost my libido instantly and my dh was so kind and never mentioned it. He just waited until I was ready again.

I'm 23+3 with dc2 and even though I don't have a high sex drive in this pregnancy, we are still dtd.

I'm 20 weeks today and still having sex for now! It's not as often as we did prepregnancy because I'm sore and tired, but when we do have sex I still enjoy it a lot. It's getting harder though as the bump grows...

24 weeks and probably have sex once a week, had it twice this weekend but the second time I was feeling very heavy and needed a hand to move around a bit. I hope we can continue having it although i was def a bit more uncomfortable this weekend than last. In just one week !

I've had very little sex drive sadly, but DH doesn't mind.
Am 16+4 and we've had sex 3 times in 12 weeks. We were both too terrified to start with though as were convinced we'd have a mc!

It feels weird. Not horrible, but all my senses are different and nothing feels the same which isn't helping. My nipples are completely irritated (alternating itchy and sore) and my vag just feels different somehow!

The last time was better than the first 2 though so I am hoping it will improve for a bit until I get really huge.

3/4 times a week, I've a much higher sex drive this time than with my other pregnancies, I'm more body confident too. I don't want to squash the theory of pp but I'm having a girl this time, all others are boys. I have to go on top now though as I'm too big. My husband is pleased anyway as its like a physical need for him to function, abstaining would be difficult for him I think 😂 x

My sex drive was all over the place when I was pregnant. Sometimes I couldn't think of anything worse, the next day he didn't know what had hit him!

I think a lot of it, for me at least, was how I felt about myself and my body, as well as the hormonal rage going on in my body.

Still managed different positions and just got DH to be a bit more gentle some times.

I'm 32 weeks and really horny, my husband works long shifts and falls asleep early so it's probably once or twice a week, if it was up to me it would definitely be more 😂

I've always had a high sex drive while my OH has a low one. Normal for us was once or twice a week, sometimes we went without for longer because he wasn't in the mood.
I'm 24 +6 and so far we have only DTD 8 times this year. My sex drive has nosedived, we're more included to just cuddle and kiss or fool around rather than go all the way recently.

31 weeks.... not had sex for about a month now and only done it a handful of times since becoming pregnant.

Initially the sickness stopped me. Then I’ve had issues with recurrent thrush and utis (lovely!) and now I’m blooming massive and uncomfortable.

The desire/drive is definitely there and I’m dreaming about sex most nights.... but physically it’s too much of a struggle.

36 weeks now and still having it 3/4 times a week.
Also have a 20mo who doesn't sleep, so I am quite amazed.
TMI, but I feel a bit tighter down there atm so it's taking a bit of extra foreplay for me to be ready but that's okay.

We are ttc and last night we had sex and it was so sensitive does it feel different if you have conceived and don’t know it yet. Period due next week

Not had sex since we conceived. 2 other kids so knackered and stressed with schools off and don’t feel at all sexy. Never wanted to before 12 weeks to be on safe side and it’s drifted on. Truly no idea how people with other kid’s find the time or inclination right now. Not high on priorities in scheme of things at all.

Im 22 weeks and havent had sex since i found out 🙈 my partner is scared to have sex with me now! We are intimate in other ways we just havent had intercourse and probably wont until after i give birth

I’m 17 weeks and we’ve had sex maybe 4/5 times since finding out? Nausea/sickness hasn’t been great for me though
