What can I take in to work with me?

I can't bear the thought of anything that has been wrapped in a bag or in a tupperwear box. I would just gag and leave it!

But I can't continue to get by on rice cakes and raisins - all I can think of that I can cope with!

Any suggestions?

Hi fisil

Do you fancy fruit, crackers, malt loaf, yoghurt anything like that?

Are you in the early stages, feeling queasy and all that?

When I couldn't face a wrapped sandwich or a box of salad I found a thermos of soup and a pack of oatcakes did the trick.

Breadsticks , crackers ?

Good ideas, thank you. Yes, I like the idea of fruit (so long as it doesn't make my office smell). I love malt loaf. Yoghurt I can't stand the thought of. Crackers I have already (although I'd like to know where to get individually wrapped ones).

So it looks like all complex carbohydrates. Any way I can get any protein, fat etc.?

PS yes kkgirl, 6 weeks. Very very queasy. And everything smells bad.

fisil
just wanted to say I am delighted to read this post, I didn't know you were PG, congratulations.
I think the last time I chatted to you it was to offer support after .... a sad time. So I am very happy for you.

Are you having smell aversions? I remember everything either smelled of drains or hamsters' cages when I was PG with DS1. Am trying to think of non whiffy protein - beef jerky?
