I need help

Hello everyone. I'm new here. I hope you're all well.

I need some advice. For 2 weeks now I've been suffering from gas and acidity and generally feeling unwell. Then on Saturday I had diarrhea twice and threw up 3 times. Since that day my gas and acidity has been the same but I have felt nauseous when smelling food (hot and savoury food) and always feeling like I'm going to throw up.

I started my period (at least I think it's my period) on the 27th (on the dot) but my flow which usually always starts off heavy has been light. This morning I stopped bleeding and then it started again in the afternoon but is still very light and I still have the gas and nausea.

I feel like something is going horribly wrong with me. I have also been feeling exhausted and sometimes I fall asleep quickly but other time I just can't.

My husband and I are taking things as it comes so we are not using protection or trying really hard to conceive.

Anyways, has anyone else had this problem?

Thank you all very much

My kindest regards to you all Bear

If you feel rubbish and your period was a bit weird, take a test.

If you're not pregnant then maybe a trip to the GP if you've been feeling unwell for a couple of weeks.

Always possible your symptoms are as a result of pregnancy so doing a test is a good way forward however, if you’ve been off colour for a couple of weeks, you might have been unwell enough to delay ovulation which would probably skew your period.

Hey definitely take a test, my pregnancy this time around started with a very light few days of bleeding. Hope all is well x

Hi everyone,

Thank you all for helping. I took your advice about taking a pregnancy test. I took the clearblue one and it said I'm not pregnant. Due to the unusual symptoms I've had for the past few weeks my husband told me to make an appointment with my GP.

Thanks everyone:)

I would test again with a different brand to ClearBlue as they’re not particularly sensitive tests. Use a First Response Early Results one as they’re much more sensitive!!

Should I? I had about 5 days of light period and then after 24 hours of nothing some brown discharge came out. Could I still be pregnant with all the bleeding?
