Hello,
I was hoping somewhat could share any related experiences as I am quite anxious about my pregnancy.
I am 41, four years ago I had a healthy pregnancy without any problems but that was followed by two miscarriages at around 8 weeks. Genetic tests detected a mutation associated with a tendency to thrombophilias and since the start of this pregnancy I am on 40mg Heparin and 75 mcg aspirin ( I was already on heparin at the time of the second miscarriage).
Everything seemed to be going well and I am very two days away from 24 weeks, but yesterday I had a scan in which it was detected a mild bilateral notching (don't know the values) in the intrauterine arteries, which left me quite worried. The consultant just explained that so far the baby's growth is normal but it could affect his development, and now I am having scans every two weeks, however reading about it at home I found a really scary picture with associated risks of pre-eclampsia, placental rupture, etc. This left me really agonising in fear and worry...
As anyone gone through the same thing?
Any experiences (hopefully good ones!) would be very much appreciated!
Thank you!!
