Already feel really tight and uncomfortable. Does anyone have any good recommendations? Or soft bras in general that have some give?

At 8 weeks I would just buy some non wired t shirt bras as you're lightly to change size before you have your baby so no point spending lots of money on maternity bras yet. I was exactly the same, so uncomfortable early on! I also found it helped to wear a supportive vest at night

Mothercare there not great, but don’t squash you in.

I would just get remeasured from somewhere half way decent for a normal bra or use strap extenders if it’s tight around your chest.
I always buy bras from bravissimo and when I went to them I asked if I had to get non under wired and they said as long as it fits properly I can wear wired ones

Please DON’T go to Mothercare!! The woman who measured me 2 weeks ago asked me what size bra I was wearing (36G) and then measured me and made out I was I 38DD. Sold me a couple of packs of day bras and a pack of sleep bras (that don’t even cover 1/2 my current breast tissue) costing the best part of £100. I posted on here and was advised about where to look for bras and somewhere to advise on measuring myself - I’ve come out at 34G after measuring and allowing an extra inch for band size being an odd number. I’ve ordered bras from John Lewis (own brand and Royce brand) and will be trying them on this coming weekend.

The Mothercare bras will go back next time I go into the town where they’re based!!

Uniqlo bras. Incredible. Soft, no wire, give you great shape and lovely colours- look good on! I rejoiced when I found them, after going through whole range during pregnancy,14 months of bf then empty post bf boobs. Pregnant again and hoping to wear these bad boys till the end (and maybe beyond!) I felt like a different person with these bars, please check them out!

I've got some I like from ASOS and some from JoJo, all just stretchy ones sold as S/M/L etc. But I do not have the biggest boobs in the world to start with! (Have probably gone from B to approx D/DD.)

I think JoJo have a measuring service, but I don't know how they are.

Depends if you are large chested or not, I got some very cheap ones from amazon (that are so comfy I'm still wearing now and baby is 2.5y Blush) but they wouldn't be any good if you are very large chested!
