Just got a strong positive. Have a beautiful 17 month old. I'm in shock because we tried for so long for him.... decided to TTC again last month, DTD twice..... I knew it was a possibility, and I've heard these stories time and time again but I cannot believe it! I only tested because my in laws are coming tonight and didn't want to find out while they're here, plus was planning to drink tomorrow.... there I was, casually taking my first test in over 2 years (I had a POAS addiction for first one!) Tossed it to the side while ds1 toddled around the room. Just... wow. I know it may not work out, but I feel so lucky
And dammit, DH out late tonight for a work thing!

Sorry, this is boring to anyone who reads it, but i had to let it out somewhere!! Blush

Congratulations! Flowers When I found out I was pregnant with my second my DH was at work and had a dinner/ drinking after. I restrained myself and woke him up at 6am the next morning to tell him! Hope all goes well.

Congratulations on your little surprise!

I have a close relative who spent several years trying for their first, with MC and ectopic and LOTS of tests, then they finally got pregnant with their DS and less than 18 months later they were pregnant with DD.

Congratulations! This happened to me, it took 8 years and medication to get pregnant with my 16 month old, we hadn't even started trying for our second (we were waiting until our son turned 1) but we didn't use protection once and fell pregnant, I'm now 28 weeks!

I was tempted to go and tell him when I heard him come in but figured best not to tell when he was relatively tipsy, relatively hungover obviously much better Grin. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy!
