Baby boy names- help!

I'm struggling to find any baby boy names I really like. My and DP have went through a list and there's a couple that I quite like but nothing that jumps out at me.. I'm 21 weeks so no rush but I'd like to pick a few names so once he arrives I can put a name to his little face. We would love a name that's unique and quirky. Also I'm not sure wether to have a short name for him.. his middle name will be 'William' after my late grandad and his surname 'Connolly' so nothing too long.
So far I liked Archie and Blake. Any recommendations helps 😊❤️

I've also thought of Bear which I love but find it hard to say together with the surname.
One that's also just popped up- Raine..
Raine William Connolly ?

Don't go too unusual...I have an unusual name and it's the bane of my life lol!

FineFanks · 30/03/2019 03:19

William is a gorgeous name. Would you not consider that for a first name if there are no others that you love?

I like traditional names like James, Jack, Oliver (although wouldn’t pick, too popular currently), Thomas.

polarpig · 30/03/2019 03:27

Raine is more of a female name, I'd leave off the 'e' if using it for a boy. It's not a very positive sounding name though so I doubt I'd use it.

Drew William would be a lovely name.

I think Blake is lovely and goes well with the middle name and surname

Rememberallball · 30/03/2019 21:08

There are lots of Teddy’s and Theo’s around at the moment!!

PhoebeBear · 31/03/2019 11:02

@Rememberallball funny you say that, I said to my partner while arranging the babies clothes that there's so much 'teddy' themed things he has! Wouldn't it be lovely if he were called Teddy❤️

Isaac is lovely. I love a biblical name!

YogaPants · 31/03/2019 22:47

Blair

(Though one of my favourite names is Isaac)

SnowdropsiUnderTrees · 31/03/2019 22:54

OP it's Isaac not Issac (that would be pronounced Iss-ack). It's a famous biblical name. I love it!
Also like Elijah and Zathras.

Vesta29 · 01/04/2019 13:32

Noel William Connolly?
Flynn William Connolly?
Kier William Connolly?
Congratulations Flowers

Aimily · 01/04/2019 13:41

There are some lovely suggestions above. Have you considered:
Derek
Simon
Alex
Jacob

Or of you like Teddy, Theodore?

It's a really out of the box one, but I really like Bert at the moment.
